John Durgin’s Inside the Devil’s Nest was even better than his debut novel, The Cursed Among Us, which came out last year in 2022. Inside The Devil’s Nest elevated his work greatly and his story was more than I could have hoped for. John gave me an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review and I was thrilled by this book! The cult was more ravenous than his first, the bloodbath was gruesome, and the atmosphere was so creepy! His cover is amazing as well. I saw a lot of growth within Durgin’s work and I think he will make a great name in the horror genre for Indie authors. If you want a unique story, with an evil cult looking for the innocent, this is the book for you!
